Harley Davidson appoints Peter MacKenzie as the new MD

The iconic American cruiser model motorcycle manufacturer, the Harley Davidson appoints Peter MacKenzie as managing director for its India based business.

MacKenzie will account his new duty towards the India immediately, while at present he is bound for Shanghai, China operations.

As MacKenzie continues to base in China, Mr. Manish Agarwal, the Harley Davidson, manager, India will update the status and support on a daily basis to the new MD.

From now, the Harley Davidson sales, dealership management, marketing activities, service and expansion of the Harley motorcycles in India will be overseen by MacKenzie.

Commenting on the MacKenzie’s appointment on the India Base Harley Davidson, Marc McAllister, the vice president and managing director (Internation market) said, “India is a strategic market for us in line with our company strategy to build the next generation of Harley-Davidson riders globally.”

“I am confident that MacKenzie will provide strong leadership to the team to grow the reach and impact of our brand, as we expand our dealership network in the country to support our business and give loyal and new customers greater access to our brand,” he added.

About MacKenzie, he joined Harley Davidson in the year 2010 and possess 25 years of experience in the field of automotive. MacKenzie was also mentioned for his problem solving ability and new strategic moves.
