3 Allergy Prompts
Trying to avoid writing an overdue paper without getting completely caught up in fics I want to update, so here are some random allergy prompts. xD
1.) House plant enthusiast is taking care of all their beautiful flowering house plants on watering or repotting day. They’ve spent the whole afternoon relaxing with their plants, completely at ease while their partner is out and about doing their own thing.
I see the prompt going one of two ways:
a.) Character A (the plant person), can be allergic to their own plant-children. Maybe they have the kink and decide it’s safe for them to induce while their partner is out. Or maybe they’ve never had a reaction to the plants before and all of a sudden they start getting sniffly and sneezy around them and don’t want to admit they’re developing an allergy to their favorite things in the world. When Character B gets home they’re worried that A is getting sick, but quickly realizes that A is probably sensitive to one of the plants. B could decide not to say anything about it to A because even if A knew they were sensitive to one of the plants, they’d still keep them anyway, so what’s the point embarrassing them over it?
b.) In this scenario, character B is the one sensitive to the plants. Maybe they don’t like A’s plants because of their allergy to them. They could either be grumpy about it and make sure to let A know or they could be sympathetic of A’s love for them and keep their annoyance to themselves. Maybe despite their allergy they don’t have an annoyance to them at all! Maybe they know A likes sneezing and likes to tease them about how much their plants bug them! Maybe they even induce with the flowers for A.
2.) So, I’ve definitely come across this one a few times before but I’m LIVING for it lately: Two strangers dancing and drinking together at a club and one’s allergic to the perfume/cologne the other is wearing. They’re not drunk, but they’re definitely feeling much more confident than they normally would be. They’re having a great time but Character A can’t help but feel their whole face start to tingle. Since they hadn’t drank at all before they just assume they’re feeling the alcohol, but NOPE. They quickly start to spiral out of control. At first Character B doesn’t know what’s happening with A, but they catch on quick.
a.) Despite just meeting, B knows they really like A and want to help them out. They pull them close and lead them out of the building/towards a quiet corner, but this only makes things much worse. B doesn’t know why A is getting worse and A is too buzzed and dazed from sneezing to know either.
b.) A ends up stumbling and sneezing into B’s chest. Suddenly all of the confidence they had built up has completely crumbled and A awkwardly slips away from B and outside to get away from the situation and whatever was making their nose angry. B is quick to find them outside and thinks it’s completely adorable how horribly flustered and embarrassed A is about the situation, because they didn’t even think twice about the situation.
c.) B has the fetish and is LOVING that A, someone they already find super attractive and have become interested in throughout the night, is losing it in front of them. Then cue two peeps hooking up at the club, sneeze kink style. Basic, but it’s a classic.
3.) Character A is visiting B’s place for the first time. A’s never lived with any house pets before so it’s a surprise to them when they realize they’re allergic to B’s dog or cat. Being in the same space brings about just enough discomfort to distract them, but not enough for a full-blown reaction. What DOES bring about a reaction is when B joking tosses a blanket coated in pet fur on top of A before realizing how it would affect them.
The Hidden Messes Pets Leave Behind (And Why You Don't Always See Them)
Pet owners often assume that if a home looks clean, it is clean. But that’s rarely the case. Pets leave behind a trail of invisible messes that surface cleaning simply can't eliminate.
Here’s what you may not notice:
Dander buildup: Invisible flakes of skin contribute to indoor allergens.
Pet oils: These stick to furniture and walls, gradually causing odors.
Bacteria from paws: Pets track in germs, pesticides, and pollen from outside.
Odor particles: Lingering smells cling to upholstery, drapes, and carpets.
Urine residue: Even after an accident is “cleaned,” trace amounts may remain.
These silent invaders can affect your indoor air quality and even your health. That’s why Recurring cleaning services are not just a luxury — they’re a necessity.
Hiring a reliable provider for house cleaning Maryland ensures your space stays fresh, healthy, and pet-safe — inside and out.

Understanding Allergic Asthma: Key Insights
Is asthma an allergy? That’s a question I’ve asked myself many times, especially as I’ve grown and my understanding of asthma has deepened. I’ve had asthma since childhood. For the most part, it’s been manageable, but certain things have always triggered it—cold air, humidity, strong odours. Even things like dairy or the smell of fresh asphalt would suddenly make breathing difficult. Back then,…
