Made Kiryu’s personal symbol / character symbol to resemble the official JJK character symbols itself is really fun! I just found out I drew the flower pattern wrong that what I designed at first place lol but since it’s kinda minimalistic(?) so nothing needs to be 100% accuracy right? Yeah so I left what it is.

Explanations 

Flower symbol is Katsura clan’s symbol. (Ancient Japanese clans usually have the symbol and they’re fucking dope)

Thunder bolt? Simple, that represent Kiryu’s innate curse technique, as an electrical voltage controller/user.

The electric source and ground symbols represent electricity but in more of physics way. Circuit? Yeah, that.

The point of this project was to create a glyph (simplified illustration) of two ideas. Being my last name is Fox and I have the oddest fascination/obsession with them, it was only natural to illustrate one. The other idea is video games. Always played video games with my older cousin (pretty much my brother) and I love how it turned out!

Organize & Manage Child Development? … we may never exactly know “how” if we don’t really understand the “WHO” that we are! — don’t you think so?

Naïve, eloquent, responsible, intelligent, humble, energetic, lovable, simple, hardworking, enthusiastic, always understanding responsible & approachable, talented, helpful, beautiful, thoughtful, reliable, inspired, gorgeous, “mabait”, “mahinhin”, “mayaman”, adorable, charming, intimate, friendly, amiable, nice, nurturing, keen, attentive, tolerable, yieldy, flexible, jolly, organized, merciful, young, natural, “tahimik”, simple, “malumanay”, obedient, “silent worker”, systematic, “beautiful inside-out” … could you identify yourself from these characteristics?   After introducing yourselves and giving your names the acronym that would tell about you, could you still recall what you said “you are”?

Having been exposed to different factors while you grow up as an individual, and now that you are already teachers to whom your students/pupils look up, how then would you aid each of them to likewise manage their development if you haven’t really understood how you addressed and still address yours?

And so, let us grab this chance for a SELF-APPROXIMATION!

Why not pause for a while and ask yourselves “WHO AM I?”

Think of “a symbol”, something personal at that and draw it on a sheet of paper.  Be aware on what part of the paper you placed your symbol and tell what it means. How do you feel about such symbol?

Our purpose for doing this? … We have to see for ourselves what we have — so that we would know what we could share!

Yes, if only we could approximate ourselves that well, we could then be a great “cure” in making each child understand “the person that they are?” — all because we know “THE WHO THAT WE ARE!” #ma’amgail

Creating a personal symbol can be a great way to remind ourselves of what we stand for, our goals, dreams, and stuff that's important to us. 

I love symbolism for millions of reasons, but top of the list is the way symbolic meanings are so adaptive and flexible to our needs. One example of this flexibility is the process of creating personal symbols.

Why would we want to craft our own personal symbols?

For the same reason family crests were designed for hundreds of years. Same reason tartans are made a very specific way. Same reason each country has a flag. From signet rings, to watermarks, and stone carvings - it's all about unique identification.

Consider modern-day logos. They are nothing more than visual symbols conveying information about a person, group or a product.

A personal symbol can establish personal identification. But that's not all. It can alsohelp galvanize your ideals about who you are, what you believe in and even what you want to achieve.

Contemplate your best attributes. How would you express these attributes in a visual way?

Look around in your environment for elements that really sing to your soul. Look for stuff that nurtures you, and reminds you of who you really are - a Divine One with absolute infinite potential. Look for colors, animals, plants and concepts that empower you. The whole Universe is packed with elements we can use to incorporate deeper meaning into our lives (and our symbols).

Think about a personal motto or creed, and incorporate that into your personal symbol too.

I've created several symbols for myself, including the one shown in this post. Each element of a symbol means something profound. It not only identifies a large part of who I am; it also represents concepts for which I stand.

Creating a meaningful, personal symbol is a innovative way to keep focus of the elements that are important to you.  The best part about this exercise is that the meaning of a symbol is personal, and unique to you, like a fingerprint.
