Period hack
Okay so this is a trick I learned from my mom back in high school when I was embarrassed about my period.
My mom had this card holder that she used to hold her credit cards so she could easily move them from purse to purse
She would have one for cards and another to keep a couple pads in
You just fold it in half (or just put it in normally if it's a small panty liner) and now you have a secure, discrete container for your pads
Now I'm in college, I'm more confident in myself and my body and I couldn't give a heck if people saw me take pads from my backpack to the bathroom, but middle school and high school I was super self-conscious about hiding my pads; I'd have one prepped in my back pocket before leaving the house, I'd have one tucked in my boot, literally anything to hide the fact that I was doing this totally normal monthly woman thing. This little trick made life so much easier, you just pluck the container out of your backpack and take it to the restroom. Super subtle and no one noticed.
Periods are nothing to be ashamed of, and everyone feels a little embarrassed when they're still getting used to living a life with it, but even so, a little sneaky help doesn't hurt and comfort is most important :)
