I have $13 in my account and have to take my cat to the vet bc he's having troubles peeing (called the emergancy line and they said it should be fine until tomorrow but everything online says to immediately take him to the vet but an after hours is super expensive that I over can't afford)

My mums offered to lend me money to cover deposit needed to get a payment plan, but stressing on how im gunna pay both of them back.

My zippays maxed out on impulse depression buys and I was only just figured out a budget to pay that back and now that's all out of wack.. while paying off my glasses.

And my heart is hurting bc my cat is in pain and there's nothing I can do about it. I cant even have him in my bed bc he's trying to pee everywhere and he's got pee on himself.

And I need to sleep to be able to drive him to the vet but my brains just a whole mess rn

I just wanna scream.

#365daysofbiking Long live the King!

April 15th - At the end of February, I was sure I would never see this fine gentleman again, for it seemed the flat where Sam, the elderly, toothless and thoroughly grumpy Kings Hill Park cat lived had been vacated.

I was heartbroken, and wished him well in this post.

I needn’t have worried. I spotted the old grump a couple of weeks ago in the bay window of the flat BELOW the one being refurbished, snoozing as one would expect. I obviously couldn't take a picture, but was so relieved this venerable old lad was not gone - after all, his sleeping habits last summer entertained me on many a day and I’d become, well, somewhat attached to him.

I finally found him today in the roadside garden of the flats complex where he lives. He’s thinner, but his coat has a beautiful gloss and his wonky eyes were bright and keen. His whiskers were immaculate and Sam clearly is reclaiming his place as monarch of the Kings Hill summer.

I think he might have remembered me, or perhaps not. But I’m glad though that this old cat can sleep, hopefully undisturbed - through another r warm, peaceful summer dreaming of his kittenhood and youthful exploits.

A fine lad whose return I am very glad to see.

A photo of an old man and his cat taken by an amateur photographer in Athens touched both internet users and an Italian Vogue fashion editor who together have allowed for it to go viral.

The picture shows an elderly man with white hair holding his equally white cat in his hands. The impressive thing is that both look at the camera the same way with almost the same expression.

The snapshot was taken by Victoria Alex, an amateur photographer and writer, in the center of Athens in the early morning hours and has reached the online version of the Italian Vogue.

In her post on Facebook she describes the encounter in a poetic way that adds more sentiment to the already touching picture.
