#penrose triangle

So I have a friend looking to add some patches to her jacket and I wanted to help. She's a big Signalis fan and asked for the penrose triangle in the game colors.

This was a fair amount of work, far more than expected.

I found a pattern online (made by IndigoStitchworks on etsy as far as I can tell). The patern was quite hard for me to parse, so I ended up doodling all over it in my phone, trying to find out where I should take steps up and down

The colour scheme was rough. I found a design that had shading, and I just couldn't find the colors, so went with a more simple one and getting as close as I could.

Then we start stitching, First the blues, then the white, then a black background.

Oh that dark blue really fades in huh...

Black stitch a border, then double stitch a grey.

Then all you have to do is cut out the design with a border of white. and secure it by stitching the edge, twice along each square.

Honwstly not super happy with the grey borders but it reads so much better st a distance because of it
