Favoured Ertijaal and Paul Hanagan (white/blue cap) finished second, last year’s runner-up Peniaphobia from Hong Kong and Joao Moreira (yellow/purple) silks finished a neck behind in third. Full result here.

Al Quoz Sprint contenders Not Listenin’tome and last year’s second Peniaphobia, Dubai Golden Shaheen runners Master Kochanwong, Domineer and 2013 runner-up Rich Tapestry and last year’s second Super Jockey and Dubai World Cup hopeful Gun Pit.

The four first home in the Hong Kong Sprint at Sha Tin today, 13 December 2015, were local runners topped by last year's runner-up Peniaphobia and Joao Moreira.

The lovely Gold-Fun and Christophe Soumillon (red cap), winners of the Jockey Club Sprint winner last month, finished second, Not Listenin'tome and Hugh Bowman (blue silks) finished third, Dundonnell and Douglas Whyte fourth. Full result here.

HE DID IT! My God, he did it! What a fairytale. I’m in tears. Sole Power, Ireland’s sole contender for the night, won the Al Quoz Sprint and gave jockey Richard Hughes, who is ritiring later in the year, his first Dubai World Cup night winner - in his final Dubai ride. It was Sole Power’s FIFTH consecutive run in the Al Quoz Sprint, and he finaly won. 28 March 2015.
