Finally, a Pendulum card artwork that makes full use of the extended space at the bottom! I think in this case, it's almost necessary to see the full artwork to really understand what's going on here. It's almost impossible to see the cut "horn" on the dead dragon's shoulder when looking at the actual card! Of course, the cut off part is clutched tightly in the hunter's hand and held to her chest: the precious fruits of her labor. Her expression is so solemn here; this was something that she had to do, and the battle was in no way easy, but she won, all to save her doomed village. Too bad her disruption resulted in her village's destruction... (but that solemn, dark mood is captured in the layer of gray smoke and dust covering almost the entirety of the background). Perhaps a little unfitting for the rest of the atmosphere portrayed here, her armor is really cool, especially the saturated blue accents that contrast nicely with the duller red of the dragon beneath her. Too bad she had to use it for such a doomed situation…
