And that's a wrap for the first week of Funguary 2024 - the Celestial Fungi.

I usually overwork a lot of what I do (see my Kelpie picture) and have a deep and lingering terror of working quickly and then having to put an image down. So in my mind most of these are sketches rather than anything else. But I'm trying to let go of the need to be perfect, and accept the idea that art is still valuable even if it's not what I thought I'd get to.

The celestial themed fungi represented here are:

Vinteren har været hård for mig – og overgangsalderen drillede mig – jeg fik blærebetændelse igen og igen.

Jeg googlede det og så, at det kunne være tegn på mere alvorlige lidelser, så jeg skyndte mig til gynækolog – og blev grundigt undersøgt.

Heldigvis var der intet alvorligt galt, men pencillin virkede ikke, så hun foreslog mig, at tage Lactolady. DET hjalp.

Ok , so what is the scenario here? Is this like a choose your own adventure story? You're walking your little sister(cousin,brother, random neighborhood kid) to the playground and you spot Hakuei playing his guitar on a bench , do you.....

A. Pretend you dont see him because its effin Hakuei and I so didnt dress to be seen by him

B. Hand the kid over to the nearest adult( its ok the guy with the white van has candy after all he cant be that bad) so that you can fangirl over Hakuei without any distractions

C. Walk calmly over to Hakuei and tell him how much your little sister (cousin,brother,random neighborhood kid) loves his music and it would be really great if he could sign something for them.
