I just got a call back from a nurse at the specialists clinic helping me get set up to have a consultation with the surgeon this Friday morning!!! I had thought maybe it wasn’t going to happen and I wasn’t going to get help, but I said a prayer for it (almost in passing to be honest) and the nurse called same day! I’m so excited!! Finally I might see a doctor that can actually help me instead of just giving me more narcotics and sending me on my way.

I sent the records I could over, and now I’m just waiting for the nurse to call me back so we can schedule the consult Friday morning.

Pray for me pls, my body feels so angry with me. Can barely eat and I’m getting headaches from it, my pelvic area is still hurting a lot and I can still feel my ovary when going up stairs, and I keep having weird poops that just irritate the nerves everywhere in my pelvis and just makes the healing pain worse. Really over did it the other day and just feel like garbage.

Spent pretty much the whole day laying down and sleeping and still feel yuck. I guess the dog can tell I’m not doing well too, because when my dad handed me something earlier, Ken ran up, tried to nip him, and continued growling at home until he backed up. Ken gets super over protective of me when he can smell something is unwell, so at least it’s affirming that the dog also agrees I’m worse for wear.

Wow, I am in a lot of pain. I had been feeling off and achy for a few hours now but didn’t think anything of it. Suddenly in like the past 10 minutes it’s really started to ramp up though. No clue why, maybe because I’ve started digesting food from earlier and that makes my pelvis angry? But fuck, I feel like I’m having bad period/endo cramps again. Did I somehow over do it with walking today? I walked less than a mile total. Maybe I’ve entered into the inflammation stage of recovery and now everything’s just gonna constantly ache and feel swollen and super painful? If it continues I’ll bring it up with my doc.

Thank GOD my doctor gave me so many pain pills, especially the fast acting ones. I took my oxycodone right before the dramatic ramp up, and it can hit in as little as 10 minutes.

Laying on my tummy first the first time since the surgery feel sooooo good. Having that gentle, stable pressure in that area just feels amazing for my swelling and gas and inflammation. I won’t sleep like this since I’m worried about something happening to the incisions, but it feels very comfy rn.

Also put pants on for the first time in days and they are also very warm and nice and comfy. Slightly over sized sweatpants are so the way to go.

My tower fan unfortunately die though, so I suppose we can’t have all comforts in the world lol
