one year ago yesterday i started writing my first ever fic so i wanted to commemorate my writing anniversary with a fic illustration! being a new writer while writing exclusively for non-canon rarepairs (moncassian and… *checks notes* peedy?) forced me to confront very early on whether i like the hobby enough simply for the sake of doing it. and while i’m still not sure whether i will continue, i’m very grateful to have found a fandom community through it. it’s been wonderful to talk about the writing process, learn from other writers, and make new friends. 🫶

writing is still challenging for me, and even after a year my total finished word count is only 19.5k, but considering my original intent was to write a oneshot to excise my moncassian brainworms, i’d say i’ve exceeded my expectations (or not, considering the brainworms have multiplied).

Speaking of flaws… you know what I like doing? Rolling with a crack idea because that’s fun and that’s exactly what fandom is for, so of course, I couldn’t let it slide and had to create the quick moodboard on my lunch break cause why the hell not and we need to embarrass Palps more (not Eedy though, mother is dripping, we know that 👑)

Palpatine/Heert

The COMPNOR has decided that the ISB Board's only gay supervisor is the perfect poster boy for Pride Month. The Emperor gives his speech about the Empire's progressive values. Then the Emperor notices that the young officer chosen to represent these values for the propaganda campaign is rather attractive.

Supervisor Heert is asked to stay in the palace's throne room and kneel for his Emperor. Lord Vader is frustrated as he has to watch, and this is taking too long. There comes a point on one's path to the Dark Side when no amount of Force could lift one's dick.

2. Lonni/Eedy, one-sided

Dedra decides to sabotage Heert's affair with Supervisor Jung. She invites everyone to a dinner party and assigns Lonni a seat next to Syril's mother.

Eedy is, naturally, flattered by the company and attention of a handsome man thirty years younger than her.
