since larimar's sculpt ice statues I bet regular pectolites sculpt stone statues. your dolomites can still work for other forms of stone carving it wouldn't be the first time two gems share a similar job but different aspects of it

White pectolites make glass sculptures for the diamonds.
And Yellow Pectolites make limestone sculptures for the diamonds.
Instead of a Pearl, Deep Dream Diamond has a Pectolite by her side at all times (or perhaps more likely, on her shoulder). Full transparency: Malachite Miners does not feature pearl as an ore because itās... all underground and pearls are made by bivalves in the sea. Thereās also no Amber or Petrified Wood for similar reasons! But yeah so since I canāt use pearls for this challenge, each Diamond has a different gem as theirĀ āāācompanionāāā.Ā
Pectoliteās hair and outfit are inspired by the real gemās forms! a bunch of thin rods that appear puffy and soft when viewed all together! Itās a very cute shape. Pectoās proportions are based on Larimarās design from Change Your Mind, where she has a nose and inverted eyes. I figured itād make sense since Larimar is a type of Pectolite, so perhaps the gems themselves would be similar and Larimar is justĀ āspecializedā.Ā

do you mean su ocs or ocs in general? bc i got pectolite/larimar who is my new gem oc that you could draw if you want but he's not really a su oc (at least i haven't yet decided what kinda oc i want him to be). i actually just posted a wip sketch of him that i quickly slapped some color on.
It was difficult but I hope I did him some sort of justice
