Last gem for the design batch commissioned to us by CrystoneQueen! Whew, what a journey!

Verdant Diamond is a gem that values beauty and order, that she finds even in organic life: flourishing gardens, elegant architecture, splendid terraforming designed to welcome life. And the only way to really achieve perfection is to eliminate imperfections, isn't it? (This alone makes her the scariest out of the rulers subordinated to Mononochrome Diamond).

Design commission for CrystoneQueen, Crimson Diamond! An energetic gem, that doesn't hesitate to put up a fight, even with her loved ones, to solve conflicts. She has both spikey and soft edges to her design: her fiery behavior doesn't really stem from evilness. The Diamond that's most likely to shatter a gem is, uhm, actually the next one...

We only have the last Diamond-Pearl duo to design for CrystoneQueen for now, so more to come! ;D

Design commission for CrystoneQueen, Crimson Pearl! A polite gem that prefers to avoid conflict. Her design was made to reference both an upside down flame and a flower; in particular, our plants are enjoying springtime and blooming, and her looks were partially influenced by the Kalanchoe daigremontiana flowers that we got to see in real life :)

We still have some more designs to make for CrystoneQueen, so two more Diamonds and a Pearl to come ;D

Design commission for CrystoneQueen, Azure Pearl's Diamond! Contrary to her attendant, she's reserved, introspective, a perfectionist who demands from her Court to be the very best.

It was interesting to convey what we wanted while keeping her design fairly easy to read, we knew we wanted to shield all of her body except her disapproving face with extra layers. Aaand we got two more Diamonds and their respective Pearls to design, so more to come ;D
