Having PCOS means that one day you get up full of energy and for the rest of the entire week you feel like crap since early mornings
📢NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) has been scientifically studied to have numerous benefits for PCOS 👉NAC is a powerful antioxidant that works to reduce inflammation since inflammation is a hallmark factor of PCOS 👉It lowers insulin resistance which effects most of the women with PCOS. 👉It helps to lower androgens ( male hormones ), since elevated levels of male hormones can cause symptoms like acne, facial hair, irregular periods, hair loss which aggravates the condition. 👉Regulates menstrual cycle and improves fertility.

Living with PCOS!
I really wish there was more awareness about this sickness. Between being tired all the time, not having normal ANYTHING, the possibility of not having another baby to give my husband the daughter he always wanted and trying to lose weight to be healthy and failing...this whole sickness SUCKS BALLS! I know its a genetic thing but with me not having the best relationship with my dads side of the family and no one from my moms side of the family even understanding what this disease is...its hard to deal with because LITERALLY NO ONE...and I mean NO ONE understands me and what I ’ am going through. =/

📢Inflammation is not just side effect of PCOS rather a central factor in the condition. And women with PCOS should address this key issue as part of healing process.
👉Now don’t get me wrong since Inflammation has a purpose within our bodies, when our body detects a virus, bacteria, injury, infection etc our immune system responds by launching certain inflammatory cells it’s basically our body’s way of protecting itself.
👉However what we don’t want is to have inflammation all of the time since chronic inflammation in our bodies can damage our egg quality, intestinal health, cells, premature ageing, anxiety and so on.
⭐There are way through which we can mitigate or basically lower inflammation in the body:
➡The first step would be dealing with insulin resistance since it promotes inflammation and vice versa.
➡Anti inflammatory diet like lots of vegetables, healthy fats and protein and healing the gut is crucial so it’s worth eliminating gluten which triggers intestinal inflammation.
➡Eating anti inflammatory diet in conjunction with supplements like omega 3 fatty acids, curcumin, vitamin D also expedites the healing process.
🤗Let me know in the comment section if this was helpful or you guys want me to cover more details ? I would be glad to do so.
