Should the thickness/visibility of the hair count more than the growth pattern?

Our hair is only abundant/fairly visible in our lower body as a whole, arms (more lower arms), happy trail and lower back and there are blond hairs (only visible when light hits right) of about the same thickness but sparser and shorter. It's the kin in our chest and face. But the closest match of the pattern they grow in in our family is our father (androgenized). Could that still count? Or is it being very visible more important?

I wouldn't necessarily say one factor or the other "counts more", and rather that both are important and it's wiser to look at the bigger picture? Or more like... well I want to describe that you wanna be looking for terminal hairs. You're probably like "duh I know what hair I'm looking for" but! Vellus hairs, which are all over your body and you might be more familiar with calling it "peach fuzz", can be mistaken as "excess hair growth" ESPECIALLY if you're blonde— or your hair is just light in general— because it's more likely you won't be able to distinguish terminal and vellus hairs via pigment as easily if at all, because of the fact vellus hairs Are Not Pigmented. There's like, a scam product I saw once online where women sprayed their face with it and gawked at "facial hair" when the product was just highlighting their vellus hair...

I was writing an image ID for a comparison chart I was gonna toss here, but decided that maybe the ID is probably better to add on its own?
