Pattern making after Anni Albers
Looking at Anni Albers ‘Eclat Weave’ fabric as inspiration to see how I might make an apparently organised, geometric based pattern with a random approach. Taking a square of dots and fixing the corner motifs. Then, really trying not to plan or think about a pattern, I filled in the centre space with triangle shapes as randomly as possible. Drawn in repeat as I went along. Might even scale it up, digital print it and use it as curtain fabric!
