Having trouble with my layout for my First Order Propaganda cross stitch. I also can’t think of what the words should be.
Here are the two layout options so far:
For the option A the writing would go under the QR code. The overall effect would read more square I think. I would also maybe trim down the circular logo to cut off at the same lines that the troopers end at. I kind of like how it is now but I dunno.
Option B the writing would be across the top and down the right side making it more rectangular. I don’t know if the First Order would “allow” another logo/symbol within their own. Since I don’t even know if the era the symbol is from matches the era those particular stormtroopers come from I don’t particularly care if political party-accuracy is important.
The graph paper is to scale, 18ct per inch if that makes a difference to anyone.
As for the words. Ugh. I have three phrases as possibilities.
1: Strength. Honor. Power. Enlist today
2: Legitimate rule. Legitimate power.
3: All will bow to the First Order. (Accidentally says “now” instead of “bow” but I’ll fix it.
#3 is almost a Hux quote. “All remaining systems will bow to the First Order and will remember this as the last day of the Republic!”
Space will be a factor. I can’t size down the lettering because my Aurebesh graphs are as small as is possible without being just backstitching. I like how 1 and 2 look but I like that 3 is an actual line. I guess I could backstitch in more than one strand and fit more in. We’ll see.
I know this won’t get a lot of traction/interaction but if you’re happening to see this, please vote.
