I found out today that one of my cats, Paticorto (Shortlegs), died a few days ago. He was hit by a car while he was crossing the street. 

I used to see him when I headed for work in the afternoon, but he wasn’t always there, so when I didn’t see him, I didn’t worry. But today I asked my mom if she saw the cat and she told me that he is dead.

I feel awful. Maybe I should have spent more time with him, but now he’s gone.
