my therapist told me the other day that “you may not be passionate, but not doing that thing is hurting you a lot”
and she’s right. she’s so so right. but i am not motivated by that whatsoever. what’s keeping me from doing this thing is the lack of societal support. as an autist, as someone physically disabled, as a antisocial being, as an anarchist, as a radical thinker overall. i am not doing this thing because is it so goddamn fucking difficult that it feels like the universe made it that way for a reason. something akin to passion does not come close to winning that battle. it really might hurt more to try. even passion doesn’t make those things easier, and i don’t even have that to help me.
