I try to be palatable and interesting but always find myself wondering if people tolerate me and keep me around purely because they’d feel bad otherwise and it being out of pity

it especially feels like that when people like my ideas sometimes too bc it sometimes makes me feel like “wow! You came up with that? Maybe we should keep you around after all”
