“Hey! No need to be rude! What does that even mean?”

Char gestured to the broken technology she’s holding.

“Tell me this… If something is broken, what do you do?”

Vanna gestured to the pile in front of her.

“Toss it away, why?”

Char huffed and shook her head.

“Now tell me this, if a person is broken, what do you do?”

Vanna blinked and tilted her head.

“Huh?”

Char gestured again, a little more impatient.

“Answer me. If a person is broken, what do you do?”

Vanna finally got the reason and shrunk a little.

“Well… Help them and fix them…”

Char huffed before putting the broken technology she grabbed into her bag.

“Then why is it any different? If a person is hurting and breaking, you help them. Not throw them away when they are no longer of any use to you. If it can be fixed, then fix it; you’d be surprised how much better and useful things can be when you fix them”

Vanna felt the frustration Char was saying, she felt being tossed out from everyone and felt broken.

“Is that how you feel…?”

Char took a slight sharp inhale before huffing out in annoyance.

“Well I for sure don’t feel like happy lollipops and gumdrops, do I? Yes, miss obvious. I’m not happy and I don’t plan on being happy right now with your stupidity. And if you are REALLY willing to try and change your mindset then…”

Char started to walk while pondering.

‘Then what master?’

Raptor spoke out as Char looked down at him.

“Let me think of it first geez…”

Raptor nodded as Vanna gulped in slight fear.

“I’ll think of it later… We’re almost home anyway…”

Rover tilted his head and looked to Vanna and followed her.

‘Even though her attitude is still the same, at least she’s talking and a little less hostile…’

Vanna nodded with a fake smile.

“That’s something at least”

Char, Raptor, Rover and Vanna continued in silence; turning down the streets until they spotted familiar house in the distance.

“Who knew I lived not so far from…”

Char trailed off into silence, Vanna caught on and walked over to be side-by-side with Char.

“Them?”

Vanna said one word and already got Char to glare at her in a menacing way.

“Shut up”

Vanna flinched as Char went up to the front door of the house with Raptor by her heels.

“As usual…”

Char walked to the door and got her retina scanned before she punched the code in.
