“The fear inside you grew with his innocent look,making you think you would anything for him.”

The morning was full of sunshine,which was weird for October.Watching they sky as the clouds moved,you felt him shift on the bed rather comfortably.One leg on top of yours,you smiled at the touch of his skin against yours.When his hand found your tummy,he smiled with close eyes.

It had been 5 months since you got pregnant.You and Baekhyun had plans of waiting until the second year of marriage but when the doctor told you about the little soul in you,you couldn’t help but tear up in his arms.It had been a good and bad 5 months for you.

You got up slowly with his help after he kissed your cheeks and murmured a sweet ‘morning’.You didn’t feel sick today which was new,good as well while you slowly made your way to the kitchen,him following you.

Ever since he learned about the pregnancy,he had been a puppy around you.Following you,wanting to go with you to every single place and showering you with presents and always asking you of you were feeling okay were daily things for you now,and you loved it.

This adorable person next to you was more than an ordinary puppy,though.

His father was the president of a successful bank chain,he ruled every side of finance just as he thought his son.When you first met him,your thought he would be cocky but it was quite the opposite,his shy smile and sweet attitude were precious things you loved him for.

After getting married,you were also aware of the dangers of marrying someone so in the public eye as well.There were death threats and suicide attempts where his father’s name passed and you knew soon,that name would change to Baekhyun,and it did.

When you went out after a death threat,you would have extra security after he begged you to stay home because he wanted you to be safe at all times,although you didn’t feel quite safe at home as well.

You felt his hands around you when you were in front of the counter.After a ticklish feeling,the tips of his fingers caressed your body with love and care,a routine for the both of you as he smiled into the kiss.

The calm afternoon was the following for you,having him next to you while watching the movie,you felt yourself fall asleep.The sun hit your face before you turned around on the couch,him caressing your arm throughout the movie.

When it was night time,he left.You were alone in the house and didn’t want to sleep after 3 hours on the couch with him.You looked outside the window,the view was calming,the first reason why baekhyun chose this house before you married him.Seeing the city lights reflect on the walls of the buildings,you heard a notification.

Looking at the bright phone he left in the house,your eyes widened.It was a death threat for him and although you knew that most weren’t serious,you recognized the name of the person,someone you heard from your past life.

You knew that he was a shadow,more like a ghost between humans as he moved like an animal almost.He was hired to kill the most successful ones from all,is what your friend told you at the time.You thought he was more like a mystery around here but now that it was in front of you,you couldn’t help the boiling of your anger.

And that’s when you started working.

After countless computer classes on how to break codes,you knew a thing or two about e-mails.After tracking down the address,you sent him an e-mail from an unknown number,hoping that you didn’t forget any steps as it had been a decade.This took you 4 long hours to do but when you were done with protecting the person you loved,all you felt was satisfaction.

Going to bed after realizing he wasn’t coming home anytime soon,you slept uncomfortably,thinking of every bad situation possible.

The next morning was an unpleasant one.At 6 in the morning you were waken up by the maid,asked to come to Baekhyun’s office when the sun was barely up.You wrapped your blanket around you and shifted uncomfortably on bed,the pregnancy getting you.

When you entered the spacious room,all you saw was your father in-law who looked angry and a quiet Baekhyun.After sitting down after father’s command,you pulled the blanket even higher before he spoke,realizing that you should’ve worn something more presentable.

“Hello,Y/N”he said in a deep tone while Baekhyun looked at you calmly,as if saying things were okay.

“Hello,Father.”you said,smiling a little.

“I’m sorry for the way I’m dres-” you sighed before he cut you off.

“You’re pregnant,it’s only natural.”he said,a little of sympathy inside his voice before you smiled.

“I want to talk to you about something you did yesterday.”you were caught off-guard this time.It wasn’t like he watching you from secret cameras that he knew this,right?

“I was aware of the death threat that came to my son’s e-mail,which made me aware of what you have done to it.”You were red this time,you didn’t know why but your whole body was uncomfortable under his father’s gaze while he prayed for you to be okay after seeing his father this early.

You knew what was going to happen if his father spoke in this tone,chaos.You wanted the earth to swallow you or easier,Baekhyun to save you but it was father,even you stomach at this moment was scared of him

“I want to tell you that you’ve done well and although it wasn’t any of your concern,I’m glad you took care of it professionally.”

Baekhyun smiled,seeing you relax made him happy and as a wave of shock washed over you,you felt every single emotion under nanoseconds,but you just nodded,slowly and understanding as much as you could.

His father smiled and left the room while he came over to you,patting your back with a smile.

“Are you alright,love?”he said slowly while you realized your morning sickness was gone once again.

“Yes.”you said,sitting down once again as he talked with sparks in his eyes.

“You are so incredible,thank you.” he said slowly.“but don’t be hard on yourself.”
