Fantasy or Reality? For young children, the lines between fantasy and reality can be quite blurred. If you are trying to figure out if what your child said is fantasy or reality ask them “Is this real or pretend?” Not only does this help clarify what kind of information you are receiving, it helps them develop the critical thinking skills that will help them figure out whether something is true or not, in the future.
