Meanwhile, the ranch owner's granddaughter's mule moved in next to Sierra for a little while between the show they just did at Mule Days and another upcoming one.

I am over the moon at her new neighbor, because this guy is one of the most beautiful mules I've ever laid eyes on! He was out next to Copper for a while on a previous visit and I just can't get over how nicely put together he is. And those leg bars!! 😍 He's such a good boy and really makes me want to get a mule for myself some day.

Sierra, on the other hand...

... is less than thrilled that her best friend (and cousin!) was moved out temporarily while he's here, lol.

Of course, after some initial fussing, they got all lovey dovey afterwards.

Pard and Civil

Burrich is a deep and interesting character and there is so much to say about him.

But Patience managed to say it better than anyone else : if it doesn't have four hooves, he can't understand it.

Even if "it" is his child, or foster child.

I really wanted to add Pard to this drawing because cat. Pard, you were the best member of this journey, I know it for a fact.♥

Oh, every time I draw a thing about this moment, I have to remember that Fitz is shaved, thanks to the Pale Lady's servant. Every other time he has some beard EXCEPT that moment. I don't know why, I always take a moment to remember it but it is classified as "very important" in my brain.
