I'm not sure how I feel about this.
The nod made sense in the Hawkeye series (still didn't like it, but that's another post) and was used in a SERIOUS moment.
Once again, everything has become a joke. This scene, in of itself, is amusing and the kids pull it off. However,
why?
why does Marvel keep dismissing and using the sacrifices of their OG characters as a joke?

So I've thought of something that actually makes sense for why Loki acts so differently in the series. He is having a new kid at school moment. Many of us, myself included, know the feeling when you move to a new school and no one knows you. It's the perfect time to reinvent yourself. There's no one there to say "what in the world are you doing? That's not like you at all." Total freedom.
Loki no longer has to conform to the expectations and rules of the past. He doesn't have to hide his emotions from his manipulative father. He's not around Thor and Thor's friends who would call "magic is cheating. Learn to fight like a man". Not even Frigga saying "no running inside" or "no playing with your food" "that's not princely behavior". The series shows Loki playing around with who he could be, more than who he has been. And that's why there is more similarities to Ragnarok than any other film. That was another time he tried to reinvent himself.
Just kinda my thoughts. Maybe I'm biased because I like seeing playful happy Loki. Mischief is not inheritly a bad thing. It can also be a bit of checky fun.
Also side thought. He just came from New York, where it was heavily implied he was majorly under the influence of Thanos. Seeing that the stones were useless at the TVA, was another moment of freedom for Loki. It meant that Thanos couldn't get to Loki, Loki was safe. If Thanos could have gotten to it, or even known about, the TVA he would have already shown up.

I have attempted to make paper weights~
Yesterday my mom gave me this gifts and it’s from my teacher at High School of Commerce. This must be a goodbye present before I’m gonna be 22 year old to get a real job. It was nice to give me this, but it’s not what I had in mind a little bit. Still I should be thankful for her. Now let’s see what I got.
A High School of Commerce shirt (even though I done with it, but it could bring memories of school days 😊)

Zen Meditations book by Richard Craze and Yellow Notebook? Sure I know this is a notebook, but a meditation book? Perhaps it help me to calm me down when reading this and listen to relax music. To be honest, I kinda have little bit of bad temper like I use to saying uncleared sentences, it’s kinda annoying when your from Spanish country like I do....^^*
And finally it was unexpected: 2 Marvel Superheroes Paper Weight and a Star Wars Comic! Maybe my teacher wanted to gave me something that is “Disney” related, but close enough I guess. ^^*
Surprisingly while it’s a nice gifts that I got, my mom got those during a meeting! My mom saids that she actually passed the interview, but about what? For me to get a real job besides Goodwill? It’s this finally it?
