Mee-Hoon-Kueh is very popular for three meals in Malaysia. It easily can be found in a food court centre or in noodle restaurants.

Mee-Hoon-Kueh is the speciality in RESTORAN PANG & TAN YONG CHUN. The restaurant is operated from 2015 and it is located in Ulu Tiram, Johor Bahru.

Although the decorating of this restaurant are ordinary, the food has high quality. When the customer enters the restaurant, they can easily see the menu of the food on the wall.

Mee-Hoon-kueh (soup)

It is in rich delicious after tasting the soup with toppings of fried anchovies and you will get the huge satisfaction for the soup. Hand pulled dough by hand made the dough is springy and smooth after cooked.

Mee-Hoon-kueh (dry)

There are two ways to make Mee-Hoon-kueh which are soup or dry thus customers can choose as their personal preferences. The ingredients in a bowl of dry or soup Mee-Hoon-kueh usually have dried anchovies, mushrooms, shallots, vegetables, eggs and so on. For the dry Mee-Hoon-kueh, customers can choose normal or add spicily.

The taste of dry Mee-Hoon-kueh is nice due to served with minced pork. In the beginning, we thought that the minced pork will salty. After eating, the taste very matched with Mee-Hoon-Kueh and it made us want to order more than one bowl.

Pan Mee (Thinner)

RESTORAN PANG & TAN YONG CHUN also famous with Pan Mee. Pan Mee is one of the most common pasta dishes in Malaysian. Pan Mee also can be classified in dry or soup, normal or spicy. The taste of Pan Mee is very chewy as makes it with handmade. 

Besides that, the ingredients of dry Pan Mee includes dried anchovies, minced pork, mushrooms, and sweet potato leaves.

Overall, the price for the Mee Hoon Kueh and Pan Mee is 6.50 for each bowl. We have no regret to come here because it is delicious and we definitely will come again to try other food. The meals are very popular hence it is definitely worth the wait. If you are a person dislike to wait, we recommend you do not go at the peak period (12.00p.m - 01.00p.m).
