in the mean time go stalk all of @the-spicy-sugar’s work, she’s a doll and her series ‘Baby Blues’ rips my heart out every time a new part drops.

stick of butter (1/2 cup) browned Splash of vanilla 

^add the vanilla in after you brown the butter and set to cool in a bowl on the kitchen counter for 10 minutes. don't forget to use a trivet so you don't burn a hole in the counter like my dad did once. (rip the kitchen island counter in my childhood home, no wonder mom replaced you the first chance she got)

1/2 cup granulated sugar (normal sugar) 3/4 brown sugar packed (any kind works) 1 tea spoon salt  1 egg

^all these are mixed together in that order, should kinda smell like maple candy. 

1 1/4 cup flour  1/2 teaspoon baking soda 8oz milk chocolate & 4 oz dark chocolate (I cut up Hershey bars)

^combine until batter forms, add chocolate last. roll/flatten into rectangle that’s about 3cm thick to then cut into roughly 1.5 inch square chunks, or use dough scoop. chill for 1hr or more in the fridge. will bake at 350°f for 8-12 minutes. set the dough out to warm a bit for five minutes before you put them in.

he gets two long walks a day bc he’s so high energy and this is him after his afternoon walk.
