yo im gonna drop the recipe for some absolutely busted cookies rn. ingridients in red. I also just wanna say i barely even measure things properly this is just based on what i had written down in my book.
stick of butter (1/2 cup) browned
Splash of vanillaĀ
^add the vanilla in after you brown the butter and set to cool in a bowl on the kitchen counter for 10 minutes. don't forget to use a trivet so you don't burn a hole in the counter like my dad did once. (rip the kitchen island counter in my childhood home, no wonder mom replaced you the first chance she got)
1/2 cup granulated sugar (normal sugar)
3/4 brown sugar packed (any kind works)
1 tea spoon saltĀ
1 egg
^all these are mixed together in that order, should kinda smell like maple candy.Ā
1 1/4 cup flourĀ
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
8oz milk chocolate & 4 oz dark chocolate (I cut up Hershey bars)
^combine until batter forms, add chocolate last. roll/flatten into rectangle thatās about 3cm thick to then cut into roughly 1.5 inch square chunks, or use dough scoop. chill for 1hr or more in the fridge. will bake at 350°f for 8-12 minutes. set the dough out to warm a bit for five minutes before you put them in.Ā
baking sheet doesnāt matter, just be sure to grease pan/use aluminum foil. place them about 4 inches apart. they should be golden brown when you take them out of the oven. let them cool on a rack so you don't burn the top of your mouth like my brother did when he ate one right off the cookie sheet (dumbass lmao)
