Stone Age Bread
Stone Age Bread
I love getting down to Paleolithic level ingredients. The more whole foods, and the fewer the ingredients: the better. GF Paleo Herb Infused Flatbread Crust
Ingredients
1 cup tapioca flour
1 cup cassava flour
1/2 cup tigernut flour
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup warm water
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees and oil a baking sheet – I use avocado oil.
Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Slowly stir in olive oil. Add warm water and stir until thoroughly combined and dough forms.
Split dough in half, place each half on a baking sheet and press into your preferred pizza shape, until it is about ÂĽ inch thick. This usually makes a 10+ inch round pizza per pan.
Bake for 16-18 minutes, until lightly browning on the edges and crisping up. Set aside.Â

Cookbooks I just went through and found useless - esp the Rocco one. Who keeps buying his stupid bookbooks? Oh, people who need a recipe for Ants on a Log. m’k.Â
Paleo Bread Review
Paleo Bread Review Yesterday I was shopping at our local health food store with the only intention of picking up low carb flour and some low carb sweeteners for some upcoming recipes . Somehow I made my way to the frozen section looking at Paleo bread. The carb and dietary fiber ratio had me taking a double take. Total Carbohydrates 6 grams – Dietary Fiber 5 grams = Net Carbs 1 gram! Too good…

Tomatoe soup topped with sunflower seeds, basil and cayenne pepper. On the side a slice of paleo bread(I ate two) and I also put in a half a tea spoon of some homemade chili. The soup consists of 4 fresh tomatoes, 1 big onion, 7 pieces of garlic, four stems of celery and water.
