El BÚ. My favourite creature from the folklore of Albacete (my hometown). A gigantic owl-man with red eyes. #spanishfolklore
I had the incredible opportunity to create my own version of Goya's Black Paintings for the short film The Quinta's Ghost, directed by James A. Castillo, where I also had the chance to collaborate on the art direction.
More vis dev for ‘The Treasure of Barracuda’.
Kraken Island and some crazy ship designs.
El Toro. Super early concept art for The Quinta’s Ghost.
I had the pleasure of working on the art direction alongside my friend @murfish, the film’s director.
We started this adventure over four years ago with the super talented writer (and dear friend) @donjulio_xd, and thanks to @illusorium and its amazing team, we were able to make this dream come true. Also thanks to @joartinez for bringing all the ghosts in my head to life.
Today we’re celebrating! We’re officially part of the Oscars shortlist.
