1) Not really, it's disheartening to see, but that sort of reaction can happen for various reasons. The most I see are about the content not being a proper substitute or source for mental information. That's valid, most of the videos even state that they're education entertainment and to research and reach out to professionals if any of the video raises any concerns. They've also been trying to please the algorithm by making frequent content, which can be daunting for viewers as they miss a lot of videos.

2) Ah, yes, I have little control on what audio they give me to animate but I do take what opportunities I have to show the characters I designed some coherent dynamic and growth, even if told non-chronologically. For example the hoodie man's is named Mistletoe, and they met at work but focus on separate departments, so (although they cross paths) they're not together a lot and met more often outside of the office with friends. Psi and Mistletoe had a heart to heat at the end of '4 types of trauma' video, which sparked Psi's infatuation with Mistletoe toe that goes back to their opening episode. They weren't together at the time though. If I get back to animating again, and I get lucky, maybe I can get an audio that'll inspire a story line on how they got together.

3) It's a tie between Mistletoe and Aloe Vera -- Although, Spider Plant's aloofness is fun to depict XD

I also use Proloquo 4 text still in some situations , but text based AAC is harder than symbol based a lot of the time . Proloquo2Go is symbol based but was also difficult to learn . templates on it were confusing . and doing word suffix took lots of work .

but then I tried Proloquo and we felt very quickly that it was a better fit ! it has still taken many many hours to get to where we are , and was very slow and very overwhelming at the beginning . and it isn't perfect .

some things we wish were different are ,

1 . we wish there was a back button . right now you can't back up 1 folder , you have to go back to the home screen and go back to where you were .

2 . I wish I could edit more . I understand why they made it not able to edit much and it makes sense for kids to school who have many different adults helping and or modeling . and it might work for some adults too , I just wish I could move folders that don't apply to me and make it easier to access new folders I make and use a lot . I want like 20 percent of the editing ability of Proloquo2Go .

3 . I wish the search function was faster . it takes like 10 seconds every time I do a search and that is a long time in a conversation .

4 . I wish I could just buy it and not pay a subscription every month ! because that means I pay for the whole app every year ! ! ! feels like taking advantage of my disability and me needing communication app . proloquo2go was like 1 5 0 dollars total . and proloquo I have to pay almost 1 3 0 dollars every year ! bullshit .
