Which is a good thing! Sometimes I feel like IF authors get too eager in sharing their stories and ideas outside of game, which take out some surprises.

But she is really adamant in not talking shit about him, just saying that she is divided between making him a piece of shit or a monster.

Originallly I thought that maybe he was another stupid kid, because i have a lot of experiences in my family with teen and early-teen pregnancies (even if not on the same level as Mallory) but Jude way of talking about the guy and themes of the story leave WAYmire likely for him to be an adult guy with connections with the industry, which kinda nauseates me, really.

We know that isn't even uncommon in this story, since Sky can have sex with people on the industry despite being 16 and Mallory saying thy was 13.

Speaking of, deadbeats are bad now but imagine being a man in the early 1900s and impregnating a girl who isn’t even a teen yet and leaving her to her luck? That would be very evil. Not only because of the lack of opportunities for young mothers (with this one being a child herself) but also the social stain of not marrying a girl to prevent her from being designated a harlot and having the child be a bastard. Like OF COURSE, there is a very obvious reason as to why that isn't popular. We ALREADY deal with one-sided love in real life, so who tf would want that in there escapism fiction?

But like, other people like and want Dante being weird as fuck, so i feel comfortable saying I want my MC to love a RO with all his heart and know it will not be reciprocal. I want to foster connection, friendship and love that will leave the MC and RO in eachother life's forever and just have that one single piece in the RO heart that he just cant give to MC. I want the option to love someone and be there for them even if I know the love they give it back will never be the love I want. It doesn't need to be a aromantic character because there is a bazillion reasons as to why someone simply doesn't fall in love with you.

I like R in "Can't Save Your Love From Dying" because is a similar feeling. There is romantic love but the nature of it gives this feeling of "it's not what I need or want, but i will accept nonetheless", but is not EXACTLY what I think is interesting or want, because R gives what my MC wants, is just distorted and venomous, but it is what he wants.
