Sometimes I feel like I'm standing before the ocean, watching a giant wave rise in front of me.
I hold my breath because I know it will break over me. I know it will come to pass.
So I brace myself and wait for it to wash over me completely, the salt of the sea scraping against my skin.
And the moment I finally lift my face above the water, gasping for air, I see another wave already rushing toward me.
So I hold my breath a little longer, and I wait.
There's no point in fighting the current. All you can do is let yourself float until the sea grows quiet again... until it carries you gently back to shore.
thinking oh no
I hate when people silently make me feel like I’m annoying. It genuinely makes me think for the rest of the day especially when it’s someone you like tbh cause then it’s embarrassing and makes me not wanna talk to them for a bit.
I won’t bother or talk to him unless he wants because I know I probably annoyed him and he probably thinks I’m weird but ugh we’re in the same friend group.
Like ew what if genuinely Hes pissed off by me and wants to distance from me😟💔💔💔✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽 guys idk what to do.
I genuinely dont let anything people do bother me but this😫😫🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀
Zbyt bardzo się boję. Zbyt wiele sobie wymyślam. Widzę zbyt wiele scenariuszy. Nie podejmę spontanicznej decyzji. Nie zaryzykuję. Po porostu nie spróbuję.

One phrase i like to say when I find myself overthinking about things and facing executive dysfunction is
"Would've, should've, could've. You can't change the past, change the now."
It doesnt work in all situations but it helps me not beat myself up when I made the wrong decision (especially one that didn't affect anyone but myself.)
Thought it might help others :)
I want to stop thinking
About you, at least
Just stop crossing my mind
Why did my past wish
Become true in the worst of times
Forget, forget, ignore.
Understand the weird abundance
I overthink by writing my thoughts
“Bold you to assume you could hurt an over-thinker emotionally, physically or mentally. All you’ve done is just proved us right. We prepare ourselves for the worst and embrace it when the time comes. That’s the most complexing thing about us. We must’ve thought a million ways things could’ve gone wrong or even right. We overthink the fact that we overthink. There is nothing more scary than being captive by the thoughts lurking in your head. So we run. We run away, far from all the chaos threatening to drown us alive. We run until we can’t anymore.”
