So true that I had to make a separate post with her statement. Maybe Cait’s laughing all the way to the bank or the awards stage, but for me she looks like an insecure, selfish, pathetic, sad Pierrot.

Just gotta say, Sam & Cait are decent actors, maybe even great. But they aren’t so spectacularly gifted that they can fake romance so hot it burns up the screen in OL. Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep couldn’t ACT the OL romance so convincingly on screen and be only best buds off screen. SC can’t ACT convincingly off screen if their IRL love for each other is just brother/sister good times, friendship, respect. Is this part of what SC fear? Fans might see through the Narrative and question SC’s acting chops. Is Cait only a model wanna-be actor and Sam only hot-bod stage material? They’re FIRE when they’re together on screen, but not so much with anyone else. They can’t ACT sisterly/brotherly off screen. They can’t ACT as if they’re really into their (fake) SOs. Cait can’t ACT as if she’s married to the Vampire love of her life. Sam can’t ACT the playboy role. Do they really think that anyone buys their once-in-a-lifetime, stars-aligned LOVE STORY on OL is just good ACTING, and they’re only friends IRL who rarely see each other off set? Is their acting truly Oscar material and only the mad shipper grannies make up shit because they can’t discern reality from made-for-the-cameras? Or maybe SC acting “hits a little too close to home,” like for Sam in Turtle Soup. Asking for a friend. 😉

Tell me something, IF YOU FOUND THIS, after years of jobbing as an actor or sacrificing a college career for a life of inequity and misogyny as a fashion model—the stars aligned and you were a deeply-in-love, sexy couple LIVING AND BREATHING a beloved love story that grabbed you AND captured a world of viewers/readers—Would you want to share it with the world? Would you want to welcome the WORLD into your real-life BED when you show and give so much of yourselves on-screen already? Would you like to subject your families, friends, marriage, and small children to a rabid international fandom? I know I wouldn’t. I’d protect our bliss at all costs. ❤️💕💜💕💜

Thanks for all the wonderful recent posts of SC love. I’ve enjoyed looking back at the innocent joy, excitement, and infatuation evident at the beginning with these two. We’ve also seen baby bumps and baby-under-coat happiness. IMO this pair of beautiful goobers wants to hide their little family, take focus off themselves out of respect for the OL team, and keep their relationship just for themselves. I cannot blame them. I’m sure it’s awkward and frustrating for SC at times. It seems Sam could shout his love for Cait from the rooftops. The “Zoom” heart eyes can’t be unseen now. They’re still deeply in love and lust with each other after more than 6 years. I don’t doubt there was professional pressure to keep things under wraps too. Personally, I think faking an engagement and wedding went too far. But I’ve stepped back and I think gained helpful perspective. Sam said “if we were together, we wouldn’t say—why would we? We give so much of ourselves already.” Well, then he DID say, “We are together and we work together and everything is good.” He couldn’t help himself! They have a big bubble in Scotland that helps them maintain privacy and loving friends and family to protect them. SC have accomplished much at 40. They have a family, multiple businesses, charities, a long-running successful drama series, fashion and car sponsorships, awards, guest appearances, photo shoots, teams to help with careers and personal matters, advisors, agents, huge social media “influencer-level” numbers, book deals, .... Did I miss anything? Whew. IMO they handle it all pretty well. Stress shows at times, but that’s to be expected. I see their love radiating for each other and I get a very strong sense that it is their guiding principle. Their stars aligned and they fell into a vast pool of champagne and chocolate squirrels. They’ll say and do anything to keep their bubble from bursting. Good for them! Love should be our focus, our goal, and our guide. ❤️. Peace.

Sometimes I’m late to catch a series. I’m finally binge-watching Poldark. Many of you saw it ages ago, if at all. Two gorgeous young actors play characters from an historic era, worlds apart culturally and class-wise, and fall in love in a romantic drama set in a naturally beautiful area. It’s based on a book series. The similarities to Outlander are pretty obvious.

Doing their jobs

I’ve been thinking about how Sam mentioned that he’s working on his book. If it’s an autobiography or memoir, it just might shed some light on the Narrative. No one, I repeat, no celebrity at his level would write or publish a memoir to distort the truth about his life. What’s the point, who would publish that, and who would read it? No one. He’ll have to come clean about his marriage, wife, kids, family. That’s why people want to read a celebrity’s book. A bestseller would address his struggles with confidence and career choices, his theatre days, relationships, almost giving up on acting until being cast as Jamie, his sudden fame and fortune from OL and all that came with it, what it meant to take on an iconic role with a large intl fan base from a book series, security issues, bullying, manipulation by studio heads, trolls online, relationships, relationships, did I mention relationships? Good for Sam, getting a book deal—they’re hard to come by. Publishers take on projects they can market and sell lotsa copies. He must have a juicy tale. I cannot wait to read this book!
