My name is Bree, I am 20 years old and I am a heteroromantic gray ace. I still figuring out myself but I believe this label fits me the best at the moment.

I know heteroromantics sometimes aren’t accepted in the LGBT+ community but I have and always will support the community! Everybody to me deserves to be treated as humans and to not judge on who they love. #LoveIsLove 🏳️‍🌈

I have always had crushes on guys, never on girls. I have had a lot of crushes throughout my life.

I never dated. Always wanted to because everybody else did around me. I had two serious crushes in last five years. Neither resulted in a relationship.

I have never had sex and I choose not to during high school and even now. I don’t think having sex when you aren’t ready is good at all. I wanted to focus on school work and myself. Even at twenty years old, I am not ready. Sex kinda scares me. The term sex makes me laugh and always has. I must be immature, lol.

The heteroromantic romantic orientation fits me best because I am romantically attached to the opposite sex or gender. I am attracted to men.

I consider myself asexual because I am not that interested in having sex. Even though I never had sex, I’m just not into it. I have watched porn and liked it sometimes but I can’t imagine myself having sex right now. But I would like to try it once in my life just to see what the big fuss is about, lol.

I consider myself as a Gray-A because an asexual is a person who does not experience sexual attraction and I believe I have had sexual attraction in my life, just never got to the step of dating and having sex.

A gray-a is a person who identifies in the gray area between asexuality and sexuality. I believe that fits me and I still consider myself an ace.

I also consider myself a sex positive asexual. Sex is not repulsive or gross to me. I don’t look down on people who have sex. Wanna have sex? Cool! I know how important sex is to some people, but it isn’t to me. I respect other peoples decisions that way. Do what you wanna do in your life, I don’t care. I don’t have really a desire to have sex right this moment but when I am 100% ready and happy with a partner that loves me for who I am. I think honesty and trust should be #1 in a relationship.

I never knew much about asexuality. I never knew that asexuals had sex or have sex. I thought they didn’t do anything not even kiss. That’s how uneducated I was about it. Health class doesn’t teach you much about stuff like this. I am glad I have opened my mind and read up about these things.
