I have come up with yet another fanfic trope idea: corporate ot3 edition

this one's kinda long, so bear with me or skip

ok imagine:

- Characters A, B, and C work at the same company

- A and B are in a committed relationship outside of work and are being very cute. however, their relationship is a secret (come up with your own reasons why I can't do all the work)

- Characters B and C work in the same department, where C has a pretty high position

- B recently moved to this department/company and is working for C

- now context: C was character A's office crush. it never turned into something more, and it was a pretty harmless one-sided thing (or WAS it)

- Plot: Character C gets invited to a corporate event (see point 3 for reference) and needs a date, they choose to ask the cute new transfer who's great at thier job (B, in case you were confused)

- B's in a DILEMMA. they can't out the relationship they have with A, and truly, C's a great boss, so after careful considering (and hopefully talking to A) they say yes

cue shenanigans and misunderstandings galore, and you end with a VERY cute ot3!!!
