And it’s because of you traveling between them that the seasons change. But I also love the idea of you representing the transition of day and night (vice-versa) which is also another form of life and death.

yeah. yeah. oh man. like we have a story that prioritises relationships that aren't shown to us as romantic just as highly as the relationships that are, and we have parker who regardless of how you interpret her can be read as a-spec and loved and supported by the people around her and that's great, and we have a happy ending that says "actually, our tough guy (who doesn't seem to settle down with anyone romantically, though we see him date) would be most fulfilled with hardison and with parker, with no explicit romance, but with a lifelong promise of mutual devotion."

(it's a very important thing to me that the story works like that, with parker+eliot+hardison being totally platonic. I love other readings. I do. but what we were given, viewed through the least shippy goggles available, works. and it packs a hell of a punch.)

and listen, I've said it before but "my nana used to say that what's normal is whatever works for you" is such a beautiful sentiment to be applied to SO many things (gender, neurodiversity, queerness, polyamory, queerplatonic relationships, choosing a life of crime instead of a 'proper' career, etc), and it is lovely.

"He's been flirting with Delores? I'm pretty sure that he's trying to bond or something. He's flirting with you."

Silver: "I don't have a mother, but I have a father who raised me. We are not from the same blood, but it doesn't matter. I will always be my father son"

Lilia: "Oya, you look familiar. Do you have an ancestor who went to Briar Valley at some point ? My, my, this reminds me pleasant feelings, but it seems I'm too old, my memories is playing with me again."

Malleus: "Are you using parfume ? You do....not ? Nothing. Nothing Child of man. Your scent just reminds me of Lilia's home. It's just...stronger. Don't mind what I am saying. Perhaps I just miss this place."

Does this also means that in this Au Lilia forgot he always was Silver's dad too ? My heart- But the fact that he still found a way to give him the same name is priceless. "You have a head to be called Silver". And Meleanor and Dawn 🥲 Is Levan with them too ? What if everyone think they are dead ? (Except Maleficia perhaps. Wouldn't be surprise if she is the one who helped us in this situation to save everyone and is keeping the secret until the good time)

So 👀 the parts that I figured out would go like this.

You turned back time and you also have the Great Seven help as well because of how the whole price and turning time worked. They can’t help outwardly but at a certain time they can when you need help bringing down what basically causes you to change time in the first place.

So to back track a bit, you turn back time. You ended up basically during the Fae versus Human war. You couldn’t stop the war, and Lilia escaped with the egg. You stop the battle with Meleanor and Dawn.

You have magic. You know how to fight because you were trained before the time was turned to defend yourself (because there was a war going on). You block the hit that would have killed Meleanor and put a healing sleep spell on her before teleporting her to safety.

In my knight of dawn x reader x lilia vanrouge ot3 au, there’s actually a version in my head where you end up turning back time because something…big happens.

And the price you had to pay? Their memories of you and your place in their lives. Which you gladly paid for your loved ones to be alive.

Everything else happens normally, with some minor changes to accommodate for Meleanor and Knight of Dawn living and such.

Malleus being hatched and Silver waking up by Lilia still happens.

Meleanor and KOD is put to sleep that’s why they are alive later.

And the OBs continue to happen, but this is where you come in, except because of your price, you don’t attend NRC.

Instead, you attend NRC as a transfer student from RSA. I’m thinking around book 4 or 5 is when you officially transfer in.

You deal with the OBs as a background character for the others.

And just?? Can you imagine??

Living this life and watching your loved ones every day, knowing what you had before. But having to stay okay and knowing it’s because of your price, everyone is alive.

I don’t know, I just think about this au of the ot3 and I feel for them all, but especially for the reader. 🥺💔
