Moon Queen (2020)
Art pieces I made for my friend orbitaldot of their character known as Moon Queen.
This is based off of a drawing they did where she was dressed in a casual shirt so the main photo and the black and white version are made with that version in mind. During the time I was drawing her Orb showed me a new design with them wearing a fancy dress. That's what the last image is of but her arms hide the pretty design. Next time I draw her I'll make sure the whole dress is shown.

MESMALIE is a very charming little demo where you get to learn about Magick with a witch who is extremely trustworthy and has no warning signs whatsoever. My friend @orbitaldot made this game so I am biased in saying it's quite good but I do sincerely like quite a lot about it. The writing is very appealing, having an odd manner and dialect that helps the whole script feel just a touch off, the music is delightfully mystical and antique sounding, and the art is super stylized with a lot of cool pixel dithering and warping effects.
The demo is quite short and I want more eyes on it, so please give it a try!

Daily Wizards Day 217
Mesmer form Mesmalie
Member of an estranged coven, she plans to teach you about the fundamentals of magicks, though has some less than desirable methods to do so, forcing you to drink a sleeping potion to focus on your magick.
She intentionally hides what she is capable of as to not have you copy her technique for casting pyrokenesis, implying she may have some of her own. Her other coveners cover zoological magicks and potionomics.

It's cute! Really simple of course, but it was described as just being akin to a gamejam project and that's suitable enough. I like getting to see these characters in motion and doing a little bit of something. It looks and sounds very neat too. The general aesthetic seems quite on-point, and I hope other people who aren't familiar with the characters are still able to get a little out of it thanks to its charm.
Maybe the dog will be found again in Part 2? We will have to wait and see...
