"What is going on?" Dean asks, but he is afraid he already understands all too well. Nadia has tears streaming down her face, she is looking at Elena like she is telling her something that is too good to be true. "Untie me, Nadia," Elena says gently. "Why would I do that?" Nadia asks abruptly, rubbing her tears away in hard swipes. "You framed my mother, put her back in Klaus' bad graces." Elena shakes her head. "No, I didn't," she says honestly. "Because Klaus has always known exactly who really has the White Oak Stake, and Kat has always known that everyone would think she took it – everyone except Klaus and myself." She leans forward, imploring Nadia with her eyes. "And you are going to let me go so I can call your mother, and she can come here and see her baby for the first time in five hundred years."
