so I've been neglecting going to shul. My brother died from a drug overdose a little over a month ago and it kinda hit me this past two weeks and yesterday I had the absolute audacity to go to shul. To seek community. To say kaddish.
And the rabbi who knows the circumstances around my brother's dead gave a dvar about the evils of weed and how everybody he's met that uses weed is lazy and alcohol is also bad but we do drink it but doing weed is definitely against Jewish law (despite all those rabbis getting high as hell and writing the talmud) and I'm just like-
