Going to prom the other night and seeing my boyfriend and mines photos from this and last year next to each other. Made me really realize just how much a year can change.. This time last year I and everything around me, started falling apart- now, I'm putting the pieces together. I know it kills my mom to see me not care about things that this time last year, I was crazy about.. But the truth is, even though I was changing, I kept things the same. Maybe that's why everything kept falling apart again over the year. What put it in prospective? Being ignored and almost shunned by two people I considered to be my best friends. One ignores me completely, for absolutely no reason. The other selectively talks to me. On their terms. Real friends? They don't do that. Losing those two people, is what put everything into perspective. The changes I've been fighting. Or putting off. I finally allowed to happen. And I feel like, closing those windows, opened major doors to my life. I woke up feeling this way today. And now I'm ready. I'm ready for change. I won't be sad about the friends I've lost this year anymore. It's time to move on. All is forgiven. It's time to pick everything up, move on, and grow. It's time to embrace life. BxH
