Pierce tried not to yell or run around like a chicken with its head cut off. Boy, did he try and remain as calm as he could have but his nerves were clearly getting the better of him which was made obvious by the way his tail and ears twitched, the way he walked, the way he kept looking over his shoulder as if he expected a terrible beast to pounce on him and eat him. His plastic little thing (was it supposed to be a knife?) was held shakily with weary hands to his chest as it was all he had.
No, no.
He couldn't keep looking over his shoulder and he was already feeling sleepy -- he shook his head and started to walk faster and faster and faster until he was running with all he had in him. Green eyes rapidly blinked and he kept running to keep himself awake, sleeping was impossible he couldn't sleep -- he wasn't allowed to in such a dangerous place! His heart began to tick and tock rapidly in his chest, terror was striking each and every inch of the poor little Dormouse.
He couldn't really be blamed for thinking this way, though if he were back in his country he most likely would have been.
The thought crossed his mind and he skidded to an abrupt stop just instants from crashing right into someone else. He held his breath and stumbled back, swallowing fearful feelings and trying to get his bearings. But when he actually did talk -- all that really came out was a shaky voice spoken in stutters.
"C-Can you show me the nearest cafe? Or do you. . .know where I can get coffee? Please -- I need some, I c-can't fall asleep!"
