⦠Wait, what? What was up with this guy? It was a pretty easy guess that he was new to Hive City, but usually even the newbies werenāt this frantic. He looked like he was about to either explode or fall asleep standing on the spot. Noisemaster looked around, but no one else on the sidewalkāthe kinda blank-faced, zombie-like people who made up most of Hive Cityāseemed to even notice him. As much as this kind of thing wasnāt Noisemasterās forte, he wasnāt that much of a douche to leave this guy standing here alone, shaking like he was about to pee his pants.
"Yo, look man, stop tweakin," Noisemaster said, holding up his hands and stepping forward as the mouse-like guy stepped back. "You, eh, you were talkinā ābout coffee, rightā? Like I toldja, 004 is jacked up at night, but thereās gotta be some joints in 001 we can hit up.ā
Man, this was weird. Noisemaster canāt remember the last time he was actively trying to help someone else. Well, aside from his buddy Mutemaster.
Well, he still didn't quite get what this guy was saying but it seemed reassuring in tone at least. He quietly asked if he could be led that way but realized he had spoken under his breath -- it probably wasn't heard. He was too nervous to ask again so he just hoped the other would be able to help him. He'd find a way to repay him somehow, someway, perhaps when he was thinking more clearly down the line.
Pierce's round mouse ears twitched faintly and he gave two quick nods, mumbling that he would do his best to be calm and cool and collected which obviously would be a reach for the Dormouse but hey, he'd give it a shot and try and not freak out. He was very grateful for the help, he almost expected not to get any from anyone here, really.
Pierce was mostly used to being bullied rather than being helped.
"O-Okay, I'll try and stay calm. -- Can you please show me how to get there?"
