For my own ocs, feel free to hc your ocs interacting however with em! Most have canon ships/plot but as long as you like....keep the general core vibe of my oc, be free, have fun. There's a few tho that are off limits for shipping but most I'm cool with.

Also cool with any ships/hcs in any fandoms I like as long as it's not like....incest-y or majorly power imbalance-y.

Age gaps amongst characters that are full ass grown adults past their mid 20s or older don't bother me unless like...you're making a whole thing out of harping on it specifically bc then shit feels weird to me.

Mildly toxic/angsty/unhealthy ships can make for really tasty character building....but also I'm soft and like to have some sort of eventual resolution over like...perma angst ships with no hope for some sort of better circumstance.

Tiny soapbox time, feel free to ignore my old person rant to no one:

I refuse to engage with proship/antiship discourse outside of what I'll say here (ok maybe also in like a single follow up post just so I don't yap too much here but still).

A lot of the pro/anti discourse is centered on whether or not something evokes feelings of discomfort/disgust or sniffing out the "degenerates". That line of thinking and the sanitizing of art historically has been weaponized as a tool of fascism.

Sometimes art is intended to be uncomfortable and gross and toxic and not for certain audiences and that's the point. It's vitally important that art like that is allowed to exist. If shit isn't for me personally, that doesn't inherently mean it shouldn't exist.

Don't get me wrong or take that in bad faith and run with it though, I absolutely do not condone the platforming of material that uncritically and intentionally indulges in, romanticizes/fetishizes, normalizes, or makes light of serious subjects that can cause/encourage causing real harm to people.

I just think there's a big ass difference between that and like "if you ship these two adult characters together in a way I personally don't like or just like...create nsfw stuff in general, you're problematic/proship and disgusting".

I don't buy into a strict binary of people either being seen as "a degenerate pervert who clearly must be getting off to problematic/harmful things be they don't believe fiction EVER influences reality" or "a 'normal' person who believes in censoring everything that may contain or discuss uncomfortable or problematic characters/subject matter in any way bc fiction ALWAYS influences reality". Like man it just depends.
