god, as much as sometimes I actually sort of like windows (usually vista, I loathe 10.) this thing is a wild and unknowable beast
like with linux sure you can just find some forum post for the problem you have
but windows, oh no, anything you find for your issue probably won't work, and if turning it off and turning it back on again doesn't work? good luck, you gotta get creative. like how I found out I need to restart a program critical to the system's function literally whenever my taskbar messes up (which is frequent enough for me to have a shortcut on my desktop) and just restart explorer.exe (almost if not the whole desktop environment) yay
one issue and I gotta hit the exit out of critical process button and reopen the program thing on my desktop and it just fixes itself

I’m going crazy why can people not communicate when they need me places more than two days in advance. I work! I have classes! I have extra curricular stuff! I need at LEAST a weeks notice?? my job has like four people on staff it’s virtually impossible to switch shifts. My first priority is always going to the people who give me a SCHEDULE first and tell me WHEN I am NEEDED. I need dates AND times. Especially around show weeks?? Every damn company does shows the same time of year I need you to communicate what you need to me clearly and in advance. Is some of this my fault? Yes sure. I will absolutely take some of the blame here. But not ALL.

A lot of things, I think it all comes from shifting from being a teenager/young adult to an adult, or maybe it's just because I don't really care to stand and engage in pettiness lol

Fandom 'hierarchies' are dumb. It's cool and natural that some people are more wider received than others for their talents, it doesn't mean they are better than anyone, they are in the same sort of fan community that you are, and insistence that some people are 'required following' for fandom has always been strange for me, just interact with who you want to interact with.
Do not care for people who make problems out of nothing nor those who disrespect common internet etiquette. I get it's been mostly unlearned over the years but I'm too old to stick my nose into other people's business and they should leave my business alone either.
Got real tired of having people speak for me, try to judge how I choose to respond to others on my own post, and still very iffy on whether I can trust people after having been talked about behind my back multiple times.
As a teen on the early internet I got mentally fucked around with by people 10 yrs my senior when I was a child, I've gotten death threats, I've had adults attempt to start romantic relationships with me as a teen, I've been exposed to adult content because people didn't care that I was a child back then, I've seen it all. I'm fine lol but that's because I don't continue to mess with that kind of stuff. You experience it, you get jaded, you learn.
And that's why if something feels off or if people try dragging me into artificially created drama, I dip. There's much more to life than internet communities, this is purely for fun and a hobby over here, nothin' more

This was a funny moment at first but then - of course Anna knows how to knock. She's been doing it her whole life, just knocking at her sister's eternally shut door, every time hoping for an answer that never comes. EXACTLY. I know some girls do it to make fun of them, but the ones that do it to try and get some...they just fail. They make actual girls who play games look bad -_-;; And as I said, girls who game aren't rare anymore! And some of them are gorgeous! It irritates me when guys walk up to them or something and accuse them for being a whore...
I've actually had someone ask me do I really play video games and if I just worked there for the guys. I just looked at him. I ended up schooling his knowledge of RPG games and that shut him up for a while. He then asked if I would be his player 2 and I told him I'm my own player one. It was very agitating. Oh, and let's not forget the girls that came in and judge me loudly for working there. Those were real winners as well. It didn't really bother me since I was making money and they were just little teens depending on either their boyfriend's money or the daddy's money. /rant over
