just posted the very first chapter of my Oni Cole AU fanfic!!

Well, it’s basically bc of what happened in March of the Oni. Not only did Cole survive the fall, he was capable of breathing the fog like Lloyd did, when we know non oni turn immediately into stone if they breathe it.

It would also explain other things, like his fear of dragons in the pilots when he has never seen one, how he survived eating a bomb in s4, how he managed to survive the cold in s11 without sleeves, the list is long

It also explains why Lilly fought Griefbringer (an oni fighting a dragon, this has happened before), and it could even explain her disease, her elemental power fighting her oni power for such a long time that ended up killing her. The markings on Lilly’s statue do help with this too, they look a little bit oni if you ask me.
