We all need cheerleaders! from @realchefmikie - This viral video has been circulating over the last day or two and I felt like I needed to share it, because theres just too much too be learned. The obvious is "never give up, keep moving forward, if at first you don't succeed yadda yada yada... But I think the bigger take a way here is the support that this kid received the whole time he was trying to break the board. He's clearly upset, and breaks into tears because at first he cant do it. but without encouragement from his peers, there's a 99.9 percent chance that the little guy would've called it quits. Looking back on history and seeing what's going on in the world right now with depression, divided communities and ideologies etc, it's apparent that theres never a shortage of complicated issues to navigate. We can debate over and over about why all that exists and this is a complete oversimplification, but i still think it's merit is undeniable... So many of the issues we face as human beings could be completely eradicated if we banded together like this martial arts school did for this little boy. We all have to individually work on expanding our ability to be kind and convey empathy to those around us. Friends, family and strangers. This little boy will probably never forget this day in his life and it may very shape him forever. Whether we share the same beliefs or not, this level of support and understanding towards other human beings will create massive ripple effects in our society. When you're up, bring somebody else to your level. And don't forget to make sure you surround yourself with good people so that they can do the same for you. - #repost #ComeTogether #EveryoneNeedsCheerleaders #SupportMeISupportYou #OneWorldOneLove #TheLoneWolfDiesThePackSurvives https://www.instagram.com/p/BxfuLaKA33y/?igshid=pbph0vn08am7
