Been a while everyone, sorry about that.

I really should have put this project publicly on hiatus for the length of a semester because while I had a hard time writing during my winter semester, ! couldn't even write at all this past spring semester.

Luckily that semester from hell is over but it came at a cost, the laptop I had been using since Jr year of high school and wrote this whole IF on finally gave out. Luckily | learned my lesson from the last time I lost progress and backed it all up prior to the laptop dying so everything is saved.

I put in an order for a new laptop literally last week or so and should be getting it Friday. Once I do, I have until next month before my summer semester starts and that will be my widow to get back into the flow of writing.

Sorry for the lack of communication from me, like l say somewhere on the main post; I will never abandon this IF. I just made the mistake of pushing all my difficult classes off to the end of my college plan and now it's biting me in the ass. 😭

I will try to answer some asks in the meantime on my phone until my laptop gets here. I have a handful in my drafts I need to finish and I still have a good amount in my inbox so l'll get cracking on those.

You have a point that I do have to go back and adress the rat bites with june's inn scene. June would fuss over MC's health but vaccines are iffy because while they existed in the 1890s the only one commonly issued was the smallpox vaccine. While a lot of diffrent vaccines where in the works they had more severe side effects so not everyone used them.

I might add a smallpox coversation later but for now I gotta lock tf in and finish chapter 1.

Man, oh man, I definetly think Aurelio is the most layered character out of the RO's. The man is like an onion that I just keep adding to lol.

I like detailed and symbolic story telling too, so trust everything comes together and has a reason. His name is but one part and what is funny is that I discovered his surname while looking through a few italian options and it said that it meant "uproar" or "crash" likely for a rowdy person.

But as a spanish speaker that word fracaso (with one 's') could mean a bad day, fiasco, or a disaster; or yes, a failure.

I will take this as a sign I should sleep instead of reading as I was planning to do even though it is late LOL

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh... this is what I get for posting and not checking back in an hour.

My choicescript IDE for some reason was exporting some files blank and so I copied and pasted the code, hopefully everything works now.

Yeah... so soon meant today lol, here is a small but it was I was able to get done today and I feel bad for waiting so long.

I have a lot more written but it is either a mess or I can hardly read it because writing on a laptop with no native auto correct is peak cruelty.

Btw this is hardly proofread so expect spelling, grammer, or even coming across clunky scentences as I had to cannabalize a lot of my old rough drafts because I haven't written in so long and I don't even know what I was yapping about back then. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Writing had be put on hold as I had a rough college semester while working long hours the past tail end of the year. But I have a break right now and am sitting down to get back into it and catch up on some asks.

I have a bunch of brain vomit in a google doc and need to sift through it and code it all, then test it and proofread everything to catch mistakes and plot holes then repeat the process at least once before I say fuck it and post it lol.

No clear date on an offical update but soon I think.

Sorry for my radio silence, I am still alive and working on the story. It was just that my last school was actual hell and my job had me working nearly everyday with really long hours.

I wouild just like to say how much i love your work . I love the story so far and every tid bit of information you share just make me love it more.

Also if you would like i would love to make some art for the game and the charactes would you like to be taged in it do you have any specific ideas in mind?
