I don't like this fandom
Why does almost every person in the Arrow fandom only see Olicity as the only thing about Arrow that matters? Itâs not just about them, not anymore. Thereâs a lot more going on right now that needs more attention. An innocent woman almost died and people just donât like Susan because sheâs with Oliver and Felicity is not? Now you want her to die just to see Olicity back together. Oliver hasnât even been trying to get back with Felicity and neither has Felicity been doing the same. Theyâre done. Itâs time to move on.
I really love OliverxSusan (olisan) âĄ
Iâm glad Iâm never alone with my thoughts on dctv shows with you here :)Â
Honestly, Felicity should be held accountable for breaking up Susan and Oliver, and Felicity should apologize to Susan and try to fix it. I don't care if Thea is the one who thunk it; Felicity did it and she did it knowingly, was older, and shouldn't of gotten involved in Oliver's relationship to begin with. Oliver has every right to demand that Felicity pick up her phone and ask her what to do about Susan, since she the one who messed it up. For the first time, everyone, Oliver didn't mess up.
One of my new faves is Susan Williams. Susan is a strong, independent woman, who is extremely mature and understands Oliver on a level that no one on his team, currently, understands. Before, Oliver had Tommy, Laurel, Diggle and Sara, but they are either dead, left the show, or are basically dead. Susan Williams is also the only thing representing strong women on the show and she has the HBIC persona, which Moira, Waller, Lyla and Laurel all had. Susan treats Oliver as her equal, gives him room to be who he wants, despite his past, and respected him enoigh to come to him for answers - she trusts him in a way that another woman, currently alive on the show with the most screen time, doesn't (and the way another woman treated Oliver before they decided to kill her off for shock value). I love who Oliver is with her and I get that S1 vibe when he is with her, light hearted, homey, and not constantly stressed out. It's upsetting to see Oliciters invading her tag with their anti bullshit, but I feel I shouldn't be surprised at their "fake feminism" bullshit. Susan didn't pursue Oliver, Oliver pursued her, but she's the one using him, sure. Susan really reminds me of Laurel, what Oliver clearly has always needed - but with Laurel gone, Susan fits that slot of "mature relationship" that another ship, in particular *cough: 0licity*, never could. I'm at a point where I would love to get Susan's origin story of why she wanted to become a reporter, her side of the story on the relationship to Oliver, and how much she has come to truly care for Oliver, not as a headline but as a person.

What appeals you to olisan? :)
I havenât watched enough of the season to have any deep thoughts on the couple. Iâve just really enjoyed Susanâs role on the show from what I have seen. I think there is something more adult about their dynamic, and thatâs refreshing (considering his last relationship was the furthest thing from). She seems to be more understanding and level-headed. I also think its a dynamic that is new for the series, and new for Oliver. Weâve never really had Susanâs kind of perspective on the show before and it works really well both with Oliver as Green Arrow and him as Mayor.Â
I also truly believe that the writers struggle to write relationships on the show that are mains v mains. Susan is a reoccurring character, and the pace of their relationship hasnât been so full-forced as a result. Â Itâs just refreshing.Â
