Some songs stay with us because they do more than entertain us. They become reminders. When I am on the road, I still sing “You Gotta Want It,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” and sometimes “Carry On Wayward Son.” They remind me to keep moving, especially when life feels uphill. My favorite quote carries the same message: “Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.” Over the years, I have learned that life requires fight. Not always against another person, but against discouragement, exhaustion, fear, and the temptation to focus only on what is missing. Life becomes far more rewarding when we learn to see the prospects in front of us. In today’s post, I am sharing why dreaming matters, why beginning matters even more, and why sometimes we simply have to decide that we want it badly enough to keep going.
