I wrote a crossover prequel for I Belong to You with my friend, @drsteggy. It’s a sequel for her fantastic story, Uneasy Lies the Chosen of Farore. It’s sort of an homage to Jumanji.

Summary:

When 15-year-old Link Kondo fires up a sketchy video game one night, it takes him on an adventure he never expected.

Chapter One Snippet:

Link takes another slow step and places his hand on the younger man’s shoulder. He is close enough to see the bloodshot sclera and catch the unmistakable tang of the infamous Hyrule herb.

“Is that… is that, uh, have you been smoking scrub?”

“Heh. Uh…” the kid ruffles the shaggy blond hair at the back of his neck. Hair, Link notices, streaked with bright electric blue that reminds him of a chu chu. “You a cop or something?”

“A cop? No. I’m not a cop.” Link has no idea what a cop is, but he is confident he is not lying to the young man.

BONUS: Why did we outlive all of our loved ones and we're still stuck together?

Link but the Goddesses only noticed he was the Chosen One when he was already old. 

And he knows that they usually choose like teenagers to do all this and constantly complains about it. And like Linebeck just lazes around and gets kids to do his work for him.
